The Texas A&M Men’s Lacrosse Team is proud to announce the second annual 2020 Aggieland 7’s Lacrosse Tournament. The tournament will take place October24-25 in College Station, Texas. Games will be played at the Penberthy Rec Sports Complex on the campus of Texas A&M University.

WAIVERS FROM EACH TEAM NEED TO BE TURNED IN PRIOR TO THE FIRST GAMES ON SATURDAY. AN ALPHABETIZED FOLDER ALONG WITH A ROSTER MUST BE PRESENTED.
This 7-on-7 format is a break away from our former fall tournament, and we are excited to extend invitations to middle and high school teams in addition to college and men’s teams.
This tournament will include 5 divisions comprised of the following teams.
- College/Men’s Club
- HS Varsity
- HS JV
The tournament entry fee is $450 per team with 10% off for two teams from the same program and 15% off for three or more!

25 minute running halves
5 minute halftime
1 60-second timeout per team, per half.
No timeouts in last 2 minutes of each half
Playoff games have 5-minute running clock overtime
PLAYERS 7 players on field per team
Three (3) long sticks allowed on field simultaneously.
FACE-OFF Each game half will begin with a face-off. The other pair of midfielders will start with their foot on the out-of-bounds line at mid-field. If penalty time has yet to be served the advantaged team will start the half with the ball at mid-field.
GOAL SCORING In the event of a goal, the goalie will obtain possession of the ball and begin play at the whistle. If a goal differential of five or more is achieved the losing team will automatically obtain possession of the ball at the midfield line and resume play at the whistle.
If a defensive penalty is to be served after a goal is scored, the team that scored will receive the ball at midfield and man-up play will start at the whistle.
OFFSIDES Three (3) players must remain in the defensive half of the field and two (2) players must remain on the offensive half.
SUBSTITUTION There is no horn substitution. All substitution rules will be on the fly.
CLEARING 4 second goalie counts will be in effect for all divisions.
EQUIPMENT All players must conform to standard league equipment rules including mouthpiece, shoulder pads, etc. There are no random stick or equipment checks by the Officials. Coaches may request a check but not in the last 2 minutes of each half.
Penberthy Sports Complex
Penberthy Rec Sports Complex is located on Penberthy Blvd in College Station, TX.
There will be parking available in lots 100d and 100m on Penberthy Blvd adjacent to the fields. Additional parking is located in lot 100 around Reed Arena.
Please abide by the following complex rules:
- NO DOGS allowed inside the complex
- No food allowed on the turf
- Spectators must stay behind the ropes
- Folding chairs must remain on the concrete paths
Drinks, snacks, tournament apparel, and Aggie Lacrosse gear will be available at the merchandise tent behind the pavilion.
